Job Description
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with regional stakeholders to develop and manage operational (Opex) and capital (Capex) budgets.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, depreciation, and amortization activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and P&L integrity.
- Analyze spending patterns and perform detailed variance analysis between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost allocation methodologies and financial processes to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
System Implementation & Asset Migration
- Participate in a regional project involving the migration of asset data from legacy platforms into the Apptio Fixed Asset Register (FAR) module.
- Manage end-to-end migration activities including data extraction, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and validation.
- Establish and maintain Apptio Ways of Working (TWOW) standards across the organization.
- Develop and enhance Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to provide comprehensive visibility into business service costs.
- Generate meaningful financial insights and reporting from Apptio data to support strategic decision-making.
IT Asset & Financial Governance
- Manage the Apptio Fixed Asset Register, ensuring asset additions, disposals, and transfers are accurately maintained.
- Apply accounting principles related to fixed assets, depreciation, capitalization, and amortization to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Evaluate project expenditures and determine the appropriate accounting treatment between capitalized and operational expenses.
- Support governance and compliance initiatives related to technology investments and asset management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, IT Finance, Financial Planning, Fixed Asset Accounting, or Technology Cost Management.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, Capex, Opex, depreciation, amortization, capitalization, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP, particularly in relation to fixed assets and capital projects.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as Apptio, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience in system implementation, data migration, or financial transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
