Grit Search is partnered exclusively with a Global Leader in Telecommunications in their search for a FP&A Analyst and FP&A Senior Analyst to join their dynamic finance team.
Job Description: Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis
- Act as the key finance liaison for business divisions, delivering timely and insightful financial analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.
- Lead the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, as well as the annual budgeting cycle, by validating financial assumptions and identifying potential risks or variances.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual results, forecasts, and budgets, summarizing key trends, drivers, and business implications.
- Manage month-end closing activities to ensure accurate recognition of revenues and expenses in compliance with accounting and reporting standards.
- Monitor and review departmental and operational expenses (OPEX) to ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost-control objectives.
- Perform detailed product and brand profitability reviews to guide pricing, investment, and strategic priorities.
- Evaluate business proposals and initiatives by building financial models, conducting scenario analysis, and providing sound recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business units on finance-related matters, offering guidance on accounting treatments and financial implications in line with reporting standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc finance projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of working experience in FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis).
- Good communication skills with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Data driven, meticulous, and strong analytical skills.
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, Power BI, Excel.
