The opportunity

You will have the unique opportunity to partner with global clients and stakeholders, delivering high-quality Financial Reporting services that support critical business decisions. From financial statement preparation and analysis to month-end close and regulatory reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial information while creating lasting value for our clients.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical financial reporting processes, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis, ensuring completeness and compliance with reporting timelines.
• Perform financial statement analysis and investigate reporting variances, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring the integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate statutory, regulatory, and management reporting requirements while supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen reporting processes, standardize work procedures, and enhance the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders across finance and business teams to resolve reporting issues, provide financial insights, and support informed decision-making.

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

• Minimum 2 years experience in finance and accounting functions, preferably in Financial Reporting
• Experience working in an MNC, shared service center or Malaysian Public listed company is an added advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of SAP system or other ERP system
