To provide hands-on support in day-to-day finance operations and month-end closing activities for ADC Finance. This role will ensure operational continuity, assist with audit readiness, and support project initiatives such as automation projects, e-Invoicing implementation and reporting enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Management of accounting and financial reporting to various key stakeholders.
- Provide support during month-end closing to meet the internal deadlines, including preparation and review of journals, supporting schedules, and reconciliations.
- Assist with day-to-day finance operations including invoice processing, GL postings, reconciliations and payment reviews.
- Performing and coordinating the end-to-end process for financial closing and reporting to Group Finance.
- Support the coordination with auditors and preparation of audit deliverables for interim, year-end audits and internal audits and address audit queries in a timely manner.
- Provide support in the preparation of internal management reports, variance analysis, and business unit reporting requests.
- Provide general support to the Finance Manager on operational finance tasks, project coordination, and process improvements.
- Close liaison between Finance team, Credit Risk, Treasury and Credit Operations departments.
- Involvement in special projects from time-to-time.
- Other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or hold a professional Chartered Accountancy qualification from a recognized body; though extensive relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of this.
- Relevant financial closing and reporting experience in a similar industry, is a plus.
- Experienced in navigating within an ERP environment i.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
- Minimum 4-6 years of related working experience.
- Experience in audit coordination and hands-on experience in performing financial closing and operations.
- Strong attention to detail, independence, and hands-on execution ability.
- Ability to manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong command in both spoken and written English.
- Positive mind-set and self-driven.
- Willing to take up 1 year-contract role.
