Financial Risk Executive

You'll responsible for risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of key financial and insurance risks, as well as following up on risk mitigation actions of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ALIM).

Responsibilities

• Perform stress tests and participate in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) to ensure adequate capital to meet the Company's capital requirements on an ongoing basis.
• Conduct risk reviews on financial and insurance risk areas including:
  
• New investments and investment limits customization;
• Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) and Asset Liability Management (ALM)
• Actuarial valuation process and assumptions;
• Product risk assessments and new product development;
• Reinsurance arrangements.
  
• Conduct regular monitoring to ensure compliance with all risk-related policies and limits as per the Company's Risk Management framework, Allianz Group frameworks as well as local regulations.
• Prepare required risk reports to various stakeholders including the Management, Board, Allianz Regional/Group Risk and BNM on a timely basis.
• Assist in the implementation of any new initiatives within the risk management function.
  

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science / Statistic / Mathematics or equivalent.
• At least 1 years of relevant working experience in pricing, actuarial or financial risk management in the life insurance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good command of spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge of Risk-Based Capital Framework and BNM Product Guidelines will be an added advantage.
