Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Services Advisor role based in Kulai. The Financial Services Advisor will engage with customers to understand their financial goals, provide tailored financial planning and advisory services, and recommend suitable banking and investment solutions. Responsibilities include conducting needs-based assessments, explaining product features and risks, and supporting customers with retirement planning, savings plans, and wealth management strategies. The role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and collaborating with branch colleagues to deliver a high-quality customer experience. Advisors are expected to meet performance targets, participate in training and development, and represent CIMB's values in all customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning and financial advisory skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Knowledge of finance and investments, including basic risk assessment and portfolio diversification concepts.
- Experience or interest in retirement planning, helping customers plan long-term financial security.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to diverse customers.
- Customer-focused mindset, high ethical standards, and commitment to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Ability to work on-site in Kulai, manage time effectively, and achieve individual and branch performance targets.
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
