ROLE PURPOSE
To ensure successful development/testing of the SynQ implementation which covers both IT/OT hardware and software infrastructure technology in accordance to best practice of the software engineering and testing methodology .
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
• Academic Qualifications: Degree or professional qualification in IT, Engineering (preferably Mechatronics Engineering or Software Engineering) or Business
• Experience: At least 3 year experience in IT/OT software / application integration, IT/OT infrastructure assets and platform technologies administration and support. Working experience in web services, middleware, application server platforms, virtualization, Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) or cloud technology will be an added advantage
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Ensure IT/OT infrastructure procedures and its related documentation for SynQ development/testing is completed with proper verifications from all parties.
• Provide first level support for IT/OT hardware and software infrastructure during the SynQ development/testing phase which includes administration, service request, problem and incident management (troubleshooting, problem identification, investigation, and resolution) to ensure no major disruptions to SynQ implementation.
• Administer IT/OT hardware and software infrastructure solutions and services and manage the software / application installation, creation, and configuration in relation to SynQ development/testing and its related components.
• IT/OT hardware and software infrastructure assets inventory record and tracking; and perform impact analysis of changes for any software infrastructure IT/OT software / application components or configuration to align with the SynQ implementation.
• Understand the day-to-day tasks undertaken at cash processing, reconciliation and cash operations, including the related systems (e.g. WMS, Vault, VMS, e-Pintas, CIS, ACES etc.)
• Configure parameters of the cash processing and cash operations-related systems, to ensure that the systems operate efficiently.
• Perform health checks and software infrastructure assets maintenance to eliminate known problems, increase service availability and IT/OT hardware and software performance in relation to SynQ development/testing
• Monitor industrial control systems such as industrial grade firewall between core switches and ICS controller to detect cybersecurity breaches within the OT environment during the SynQ development/teting phase
• To plan and execute improvements and controls over IT/OT operations during the SynQ development/testing & commissioning, acceptance and post implementation phase
• To ensure cybersecurity controls and governance are maintained specifically over the Industrial Automation and Controls Systems during the SynQ development/teting phase
• Any other tasks deemed fit by the management in relation to SynQ development/testing & commissioning, acceptance and post implementation phase
