Job Description

As a Fit-Out Executive, you will support the planning and execution of new store openings, renovations, relocations, and reinstatement projects. You will work closely with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor fit-out projects from planning to completion.
  • Work closely with Operations, Design, Real Estate, Procurement, IT, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor site progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with approved plans.
  • Assist with store handover upon project completion.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitor timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking project costs.
  • Obtain and compare quotations from contractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project variations and report any cost or schedule changes.
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
  • Ensure construction works comply with company standards, landlord requirements, and local authority regulations.
  • Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works, including electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, refrigeration, lighting, and POS infrastructure.
  • Monitor defect rectification works after project completion.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, quotations, and project records.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance project quality, efficiency, and cost savings.

Job Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Interior Design, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related field.

Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail fit-out, interior construction, or commercial renovation projects.
  • Experience handling multiple store fit-out projects is an advantage.
  • Experience in retail, convenience store, or F&B projects is preferred.

Technical Skills
  • Basic knowledge of project costing, tendering, and contractor management.
  • Familiar with Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimation, and construction documentation.
  • Knowledge of landlord submissions and local authority approval processes.
  • Understanding of retail M&E coordination.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage documentation accurately.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel frequently for site inspections and project coordination.
