Job Description

The mission

We're building the AI that runs the back office of wealth management. Today it takes the paperwork that buries financial advisers off their plate. Where it's going: an agentic layer that drafts, checks and acts on its own, turning a profession still run on manual process into one that runs itself. Thousands of advisers already depend on us every day — and we're only at the start.

Founded by Entrepreneur First alumni. Valued at £100m. Raising our Series A in 2026.

What you'll build

Not CRUD. The hard problems sit at the centre of the company:

  • LLM pipelines that have to be right. We generate highly regulated reports advisers stake their compliance on. That means accuracy, traceability and zero tolerance for hallucination in a domain where a wrong number is a real-world problem — not a demo.
  • Atlas — the chat-led workflow platform everything is converging into: a workflow engine, proactive automations, and the surface advisers will run their whole day through.
  • Real-time transcription and structured extraction — turning adviser-client meetings into clean notes and fact-finds from audio.
  • Integrations with the systems advisers live in — Intelliflo, Plannr, Curo, Xplan — where the messy real-world data lives.
  • AI infrastructure at scale — run, train, manage AI models across thousands of requests a day, in a regulated, audited, high growth environment.

What you'll own

You're a founding engineer, so you own real surface area from day one: architecture decisions, features 0→1, and the engineering culture we build on. You'll work directly with the founders, ship to production in your first week, and have a genuine say in where the product and the stack go. The equity reflects that.

The stack

Ruby/Rails and Python (backend) · React (frontend) · PostgreSQL · AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3, EC2) · Docker · Redis · GitHub Actions.

We build with AI too — Claude and Cursor are part of how we ship. We expect you to use them well.

How we work

Fast, and with very little process to hide behind. We ship to learn, aim for 80% of the problem in 20% of the time, and iterate in production. Small team, high trust, high autonomy — you'll be expected to make calls, not wait for tickets. We work UK hours; if you're in Malaysia, that's roughly mid-afternoon to late evening.

Who we're looking for

We care about evidence of exceptional ability, not your CV. The bar is high and we won't lower it.

  • You've built and shipped full-stack products to production in a professional setting — and you can point to something real and talk through the hard decisions in it.
  • You've taken something from 0 to live, not just maintained someone else's system.
  • You're strong with relational databases (Postgres) and comfortable with cloud, especially AWS.
  • You've built things that had to scale — APIs, services, the unglamorous reliability work.
  • You're autonomous and proactive, and you work well across a cross-functional team.

  • Strong plus, not required: LLM/AI systems in production; fintech or another regulated domain; depth in Ruby or Python; high-velocity startup experience.

    How to apply

Send us something you built and shipped — repo, product, or a short description of the hardest problem in it and how you solved it. Skip the cover letter.

If this sounds like too much, it probably is. If it sounds like the only kind of work worth doing — apply.

Strong comp and meaningful founding equity, because the work is hard and you're early. If comp is the only reason you'd join, this isn't the place.
