Job Description:
- Designs and develops FPGA circuits and IPs including FPGA core fabric logic, interconnect routing, clocking, configuration, configurable memory blocks, and network on chip.
- Micro-architects and performs circuit and logic design, schematic entry, simulation, reliability verification, and verifies functionality to optimize FPGA circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals.
- Develops models and collaterals for FPGA circuits and IPs to integrate into FPGA hardware and software deliverables including circuit integration specifications, behavioral models, electrical rule checkers, design intent, and timing and power models.
- Works with microarchitecture, SoC/full chip, IP fabrics and interconnects, RTL design, and verification teams to develop new capabilities around FPGA solutions, design improved programmable logic designs, and deliver faster integration of FPGAs into larger systems.
Qualifications
- BS or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in Memory IP design in very deep submicron Technology nodes.
- Possess excellent analytical skill and provide effective solutions to technical issues in a timely manner.
- Capable of leading a team of engineers to work on challenging memory designs.
- Familiar with very deep submicron parasitic effects and circuit robustness to design robust and reliable memory IPs.
- Experienced in floor-planning and reviewing layout, particularly on sensitive memory circuitry.
- Experienced in silicon correlation and debugging.
- Possess excellent communication skill for successful interaction with wide range of engineering groups on deliverables across different geographical sites.
