Job Description

  • Basic understanding of formulation principles and fragrance application concepts.  
  • Knowledge of fragrance compatibility, stability, and performance in different product bases.  
  • Ability to conduct laboratory testing, stability monitoring, and product evaluations according to established procedures.  
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, viscometers, and homogenizers.  
  • Strong attention to detail in sample preparation, weighing, testing, and data recording.  
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, formulation records, stability reports, and test results.  
  • Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple samples and tasks efficiently.  
  • Ability to follow written procedures, protocols, and work instructions accurately.  
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration with Application, QA, Evaluation, Perfumery, Sales, and Marketing teams.  
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.  
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.  
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Awareness of laboratory safety practices, PPE requirements, and proper chemical handling procedures.  
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to support team objectives.  
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.  
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering samples and project support on time.  
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements.  
  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and accountability in assigned tasks. 

Requirements & Qualifications 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.  
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior laboratory, formulation, or product development experience is an advantage.  
  • Basic knowledge of cosmetic, personal care, home care, or fragrance application products is preferred.  
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as analytical balances, pH meters, viscometers, and homogenizers.  
  • Basic understanding of formulation preparation, stability testing, and laboratory procedures.  
  • Experience in handling chemicals and adhering to laboratory safety practices is an advantage.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
