Job Title: Business Development/ Sales Representative (Energy Solutions)

Position Type: Freelance/ Contract

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the sales of the Energy business unit, covering a range of electrical protection, monitoring, automation, power quality, communication, substation, industrial, and energy-related solutions (herein called Energy products). This role requires a strong electrical engineering foundation combined with strategic sales capability. The position will drive solution-based selling and work closely with the cross-functional team to achieve sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate must possess strong technical knowledge in electrical systems and energy solutions, enabling credible engagement with consultants, contractors, utilities, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies aligned with market demands.
  • Position the company as a technical solution provider, extending beyond existing products through integrated solutions.
  • Identify emerging technologies and energy solutions to expand market offerings.
  • Translate technical capabilities into strong commercial value propositions.
  • Establish long-term growth roadmaps aligned with corporate objectives.

2. Sales Operations & Process Optimization

  • Strengthen sales processes, reporting systems, and operational workflows.
  • Implement structured sales planning, territory management, and account strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between sales, technical, and project teams for seamless execution.
  • Improve operational efficiency and customer experience across the division.

3. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry engagements, networking events, and strategic meetings.
  • Support and coordinate with external business partners where required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the energy industry.
  • Proven track record in sales management or business development.
  • Strong exposure to energy projects, industrial clients, or infrastructure sectors.
