Role Description
The Freight Forwarding Senior Operations Supervisor PKFZ is a full-time on-site role based in Port Klang Free Zone. The role involves coordinating and managing freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficient export and import forwarding processes, and supervising the freight transportation activities. The individual will oversee operations, addressing inquiries and resolving client concerns, while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The role requires optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of service delivery to meet client expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation processes
- Experience in Forwarding and Export operations
- Strong focus on Customer Service skills
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with international trade and logistics compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an advantage
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is a plus
