If Insurance is the largest P&C insurance company in the Nordic markets. We cover Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the Baltic countries with a market share of about 20%. In total, we are 10,000 people out of which about 1,500 work in IT. We invest heavily in IT as we see it as one of the key ways for us to stay relevant in a very competitive market, enabling us to offer class-leading customer service. We have about 4 million customers and handle a total throughput of 2 million claims every year; we process 50% of all claims within the first 24hr after the customer has reported it to us. We have had an IT department in Malaysia since 2016. Since our humble beginnings we have grown to about 90 people today and expect that growth to continue in the coming years. Key Responsibilities:

If Insurance is currently expanding their offshore setup in Malaysia, hiring a Frontend developer for one of their departments , which offers customers various features to manage their insurances, such as:

• Customer login: Customers can log in to their account and access their insurance information
• Insurance overview: Customers can view the list of insurances they have with If
• Claims history: Customers can check their claims history and see if they have any ongoing claims
• Self-services: Customers can add new insurance to their account using the self-service feature

Qualifications:

• You have a foundation as a developer, preferably front-end. We use React supplemented with other frameworks and technologies
• You have a strong interest in automated testing
• You have experience with testing at UI level as well as on a service level
• You are very quality aware and prefer short feedback loops
• You would rather spend two days automating a test then one hour of manual testing at every release. You like taking the lead on technical matters and thereby elevating your team
• You have good communications skills and have a strong preference for finding the why in everything you do
• You challenge status quo
• You will be working in CI/CD environment

Technical Requirements (Must Have):

• 3+ years experience
• Proven Experience in Next.JS and/or ReactJS
• Proven Experience in UI testing

Technical Requirements (Good to Have):

• Proven Experience in Node
• Exposure to automated testing (or if you are keen and interested to learn automated testing)
• Participated in technical matters discussion
• Hand on experience in C#

Education

B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field
