We are looking for a Frontend React Engineer to join our growing Engineering team.

You will work closely with product stakeholders, designers and cross-functional teams to build and continuously improve user-facing applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript and Next.js.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and other engineering teams to improve application usability and user experience.
- Develop applications based on designs, mockups and prototypes, while also contributing your own ideas to improve the product.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs, GraphQL and third-party libraries.
- Implement authentication and authorization solutions such as OAuth and JWT.
- Optimise frontend applications for speed, scalability and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot frontend performance and browser-related issues.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive technical feedback.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Prepare technical documentation where required.
- Contribute to technical discussions, meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Keep up to date with emerging frontend technologies and development best practices.
- Ensure applications maintain high standards of UI quality, design consistency and brand experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Frontend Developer or Software Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js.
- Good understanding of the complete web development lifecycle from design and development through testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts.
- Good understanding of frontend performance optimisation.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in using AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Bolt.new, Cursor, Windsurf) to enhance development productivity.
- Comfortable working with designers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A good eye for UI layout, usability and design consistency.
- Mature, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of responsibility and good working attitude.
