This position is a 12 months contract in developing and enhancing our current LIMS system in Korea to enable dual-usage (CN/KR). You will be based in Malaysia while reporting to your superior in Korea.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and Next.js
- Build scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 3 years working experience with React / Next.js + Node.js / NestJS
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with React and Next.js
- Experience with Node.js and NestJS (or similar frameworks like Express)
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., Oracle)
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Proficiency in English is mandatory
- Proficiency in Korean or Mandarin or French is an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive knowledge on relational database (preferrable Oracle / Postgresql)
- Experience with collaborative development platform (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience with authentication and security best practices
- Understanding of microservices architecture
