The Job:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain & improve software, and processes for the websites
- Work alongside and collaborate with other IT engineers & developers on the various implementation, design and launch new features for the website/system
- Work in close collaboration with the product team to bounce ideas and drive business decisions
- Plan and design overall architecture of the web application
- Maintain the quality of the website/system and ensure responsiveness of applications
- Actively seek opportunities to improve technical processes and present to the team and product owners
- Inspect and identify refactoring of code, as well as deferring technical debt when/where applicable
- Design for a deploy to cloud infrastructure
- Fix bugs if necessary to improve the usability of website
Requirements
The Person:
- Possesses at least 4 years professional experience in front-end (ReactJS) & back-end (PHP) development
- Strong Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Bootstrap and CSS3
- Experience in developing web applications with Laravel/Lumen framework and proficient in ReactJS, with a good understanding of React Hooks, and the Common UI Design Patterns
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, NodeJS, AWS, HTML, CSS, and Web Design will be an added advantage
- Prior experience working with Figma or similar software
- Experience in developing E-commerce related websites will be an added advantage.
- Possesses strong technical and analytical knowledge in web development
- Possesses good command of English, a positive work attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels
- Able to work well under pressure and accepts criticism positively
- Pleasant disposition, and possesses a good interpersonal skill
