About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled MEAN Stack Developer to join the team. You will be working onsite with our client in the financial services industry, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in the MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) stack, combined with good problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using the MEAN stack.
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
- Ensure applications are secure, optimized, and aligned with financial services industry standards.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with QA teams to support automated testing and deployment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixing during project lifecycle.
Skills & Experience Required
- 58 years of experience as a Full Stack or MEAN Stack Developer.
- Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, Angular (8+), and Node.js.
- Experience with RESTful API design, JSON, and microservices architecture.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with financial services domain (banking, fintech, insurance) preferred.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a client-facing consulting environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, Jest).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Angular, Node.js, or Cloud technologies are an advantage.
