Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

• As a Technical Lead, you are part of a team of creative, visionary minds of many disciplines who put future-forward thinking into projects that push the edges of technology to support digital change for our business and our partners. You'll establish and nurture positive working relationships with teams and business with the intention to exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing and debugging Node.js microservices to support React web and mobile applications
• Finding and addressing performance issues
• Building reusable code and libraries for future roadmap and have an inner-source attitude to code sharing

Skills/Experience:

• Must have experience in:
• developing and consuming web-based RESTful/Graph APIs and client integrations using JSON or XML
• building web front-ends in modern web frameworks (e.g. React.js)
• writing backends of modern web applications or serverless architecture
• 4-6 years of hands-on relevant experience preferably in microservices development
• One of the following:
• 2+ years of experience using Node.js and 4+ years of strong development skills in JavaScript knowledge of Node.JS frameworks such as Express
• 2+ years of experience using React.js and 2+ years of strong development skills in Next.JS, Redux, React Hook Form, Final Form
• Knowledge of Databases (SQL and NoSQL) e.g. AWS DynamoDB
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub)

Knowledge in:

• development pipelines (CI/CD), AWS SAM CLI, AWS CloudFormation
• containers, specifically OpenShift
• serverless architecture, specifically AWS API Gateway, S3, Lambda, AWS Kinesis
• Worked with Agile software development (Scrum/Kanban)
• Knowledge in OpenAPI schema 3 (e.g. Swagger)
• Experience with CMS (e.g. Prismic) a bonus
• Understand the nature of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds
