Experience & Background

• 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (Waterfall & Agile methodologies).
• Strong understanding of development processes (testing, code quality, design).
• Experience acting as a technical leader within a project.
• Experience supporting production and assisting business users is highly valued.
• Work experience in the Finance, Banking or Insurance industry is preferred.

Required Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, CSS, or other client-side rendering frameworks.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Excellent Object-Oriented Programming skills, including strong knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and clean code practices.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Lean, or Continuous Delivery practices (CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience in Transfer Agency business is an added advantage.
• Genuine passion for software engineering, best practices, technology leadership, and mentoring developers of all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test large-scale, custom distributed software systems using Java, Angular, and NoSQL technologies.
• Apply Agile development practices, including automated testing, deployment automation, and CI/CD to enhance product quality and delivery speed.
• Act as an internal consultant/expert for resolving complex technical problems.
• Research emerging trends, evaluate best practices, and advise on technology implications for business strategy.
• Advocate for new technologies and share technical expertise with team members.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and team members throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
• Solve challenging and complex problems with the team while building deep product and technical expertise.
