Full-Stack Developer (React, Next.js & Java Spring Boot)
Location: Fully Remote/Hybrid (Occasional meet-ups in KL & Selangor)
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract
Salary: RM4,000 – RM6,000 per month (depending on experience)
We are looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join an established product engineering team building a large-scale enterprise platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end, from backend APIs to frontend interfaces, and is comfortable working in a fully remote, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver full-stack features using React, Next.js, Java Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces based on Figma designs.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend business logic.
- Integrate frontend and backend components to deliver complete product features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners.
- Work in Agile sprints and keep tasks updated through Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Use AI coding tools to improve development efficiency while ensuring code quality.
Skills & Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL).
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Able to work independently in a remote working environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of design systems and Figma workflows.
- Exposure to enterprise or data-heavy applications.
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams.
