We're partnering with a high-performing technology team looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with deep Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
You'll work across modern cloud-native applications, building scalable backend services and intuitive front-end solutions in a collaborative engineering environment.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across the full development lifecycle, and contributing to modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications on GCP
- Build and enhance backend services using Node.js and Java
- Develop modern front-end applications using React
- Work across APIs, microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with product, engineering and DevOps teams
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot, optimise and improve system performance
Required Skills & Experience- Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js and Java
- Front-end development expertise with React
- Experience building REST APIs and microservices
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalable systems
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Exposure to serverless technologies on GCP
- Knowledge of security, authentication and cloud governance
- Previous experience in enterprise or fast-paced delivery teams
