Full Stack Engineer (Java + React/JavaScript)

What will you be doing

You will be working within an agency as part of its IT project team, which includes the Product/Project Manager, Solution Architect, and, where applicable, a Technical Services Consultant. Together, you will deliver ICT capabilities to support Singapore's vision of a Smart Nation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full-stack web applications using:
• Frontend: React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5/CSS3
• Backend: Java with Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Work with SQL Server/Azure SQL Database for relational data, adapting to other databases (NoSQL, etc.) as project needs dictate.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (DevOps) and implement secure coding practices.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions (AWS Lambda, S3, Docker) and containerized applications.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing (Selenium, Mocha, Karma) and peer reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and UI/UX teams in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and architecture decisions.
