Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading financial institution in Malaysia to hire a Full Stack Developer (Cards/Core Banking), responsible for building end-to-end web applications using Java (Spring Boot), React.js and modern front-end frameworks.

Build scalable, secure, and high-performing full-stack applications across Java backend and modern front-end frameworks. Collaborate with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business needs.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Collaborate on architecture and system design to ensure scalability, modularity, and performance.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate UI/UX flows into responsive, accessible applications.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and React.js.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and database technologies (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL).

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+) and tooling (Webpack, Babel).
• Ability to design UI/UX flows and contribute to interaction design (Figma experience a plus).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and secure coding practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
