This role is responsible to provide functional leadership and execution oversight across the implementation program, and requires strong rigor in managing functional requirements, solution design and testing.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of insurance operations, preferably in the areas of agent compensations, billing & collection and claims. They should have proven experience in leading Functional and Testing, partnering closely with business stakeholders to drive and manage requirements gathering, change control, and test management activities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and govern the end-to-end functional requirements lifecycle and test management, working closely with Business and IT
- Facilitate requirements gathering, prioritization and solution design in alignment to program objectives and business outcomes, including definition of approaches and guiding principles
- Develop test strategy/ approaches/ plan, and lead the preparation of test scenarios, scripts, and test data, driving the necessary alignment between business and IT
- Manage UAT execution, including testing dependencies and lead defect triage to drive defect resolution
- Facilitate Change Control Committee discussions and drive structured assessment of proposed changes
- Monitor delivery progress, support management updates, and drive re-planning activities to mitigate the impact of delays, scope changes, and dependencies
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading large-scale insurance transformation or core system implementation programs, particularly in Agent Compensation, Billing & Collection, and Claims domains.
- Proven ability to lead and govern end-to-end functional requirements management, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Strong leadership experience managing functional, business analysis, and testing teams across complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
- Demonstrated capability in driving solution design decisions, facilitating workshops, and providing strategic direction to business and IT stakeholders.
- Extensive experience leading UAT and testing workstreams, including test strategy, governance, defect resolution, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders, program sponsors, and vendor partners.
- Proven track record in program governance, change control, risk management, and delivery oversight to ensure successful transformation outcomes.
