Position: Fund Operations Analyst (Transfer Agency)

Working Day/Hours: Monday - Friday; normal working hours
Working Duration: 8 months contract - until December 2026 (Renewable based on business needs)
Salary: Basic up to RM 4,050 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + medical insurance + leave entitlement
The Transaction Capture Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for providing analytic and administrative support to various securities related functions, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to support traders, maintain position records, and improve process efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain record of the fund register and their investors registration details
- Ensure proper completion of account opening form, in accordance to FATCA and CRS obligation, ensure US Tax form & CRS self-certification are validated.
- Perform signature verification to ensure signer has authority to authorize place any order or request.
- Issue monthly statement to investor and should be distributed in secure manner via email/ Victor Buck System/ fax/ physical mail/TA core system.
- Perform daily day end reconcilement confirming number of order by type received and processed.
- Investigate, identify and escalate any discrepancy between the collection and fund account.
- Provide creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Provide back-up coverage for team members and assist team members during high volume periods.
- Perform Cash and trade reconciliation and send out reports to Fund Managers per SLA timelines.
- Respond to queries raised by internal stakeholders such as Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Cash and Settlements
- Respond to queries raised by external stakeholders such fund managers, auditors
- Meet reporting deadlines in accordance with the client's
- Manage team in an effective way (leader)
- Lead enhancement project for cost saving
Qualifications/Requirement
- At least 2 years Transfer Agency experience.
- Strong knowledge in Transfer Agency business, products and workflow
- Familiarity with global markets – practices, regulations, industry trends and key industry segments
- Strong technical skills including accounting principles and theories
- Knowledge of operations for various kinds of funds including but not limited to Hedge funds, Mutual funds, REITs and ABS
- Detailed knowledge of business processes and procedures as well as service and systems (including downstream impacts)
- Candidate should be flexible ready to work in different shifts.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in accounting, finance, computer science, Business Admin and/or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
