The Google Cloud Business Unit is on a strong growth trajectory, with a sharp focus on Data Platforms, AI / Generative AI, Analytics, and Cloud-Native modernization. To support this growth, we are expanding our Pre-Sales and Solutions leadership team and are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Presales Lead who can front-end complex deals, co-innovate with Googlers, and position LTM as a trusted transformation partner.
This role demands deep Google Cloud expertise, strong Data & AI domain knowledge, and a proactive deal-shaping mindset, with the ability to influence customers from early discovery through deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively originate, shape, and lead Google Cloud deals, with a strong focus on Data, Analytics, AI, and Generative AI-led transformation
- Own the presales strategy and technical win plan for strategic pursuits, ensuring differentiation, rigor, and business alignment
- Lead executive-level customer discovery to identify high-impact data, AI, and modernization use cases aligned to measurable business outcomes
- Architect and position solutions across Google Cloud priority services, including:
- Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Looker, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc
- AI & Generative AI: Vertex AI, Gemini models, MLOps, Responsible AI frameworks
- Databases: Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, Bigtable, Firestore
- Infrastructure Modernization: VMware on Google Cloud, Oracle workloads on GCP, data center exits, hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
- ERP & Core Platform Transformation: SAP and enterprise application modernization on Google Cloud
- Application & Platform Modernization: GKE, Cloud Run, Anthos, microservices architectures
- Security & Identity: IAM, Security Command Center, Zero Trust, data security and compliance-aligned designs
- Front-end engagements with Googlers to co-create joint solutions, PoCs, demos, and GTM strategies
- Translate complex architectures into clear executive-level value propositions, highlighting ROI, resilience, scalability, and speed-to-value
- Lead technical ownership for RFPs/RFIs, proposals, solution presentations, and executive briefings
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and alliance teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, secure, and commercially viable
- Mentor presales and solution architects and contribute to reusable assets, reference architectures, and Data & AI POVs
Qualifications
- 13+ years of experience in cloud consulting, presales, or solution architecture roles
- 4-5+ years of strong Google Cloud experience, preferably within a partner ecosystem
- Proven track record of shaping and winning large, complex enterprise deals
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Data, Analytics, and AI services, including Generative AI
- Strong understanding of cloud migration, modernization, CI/CD, automation, and FinOps
