About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Finance Manager to join our team. In this full-time position based in Ipoh Perak, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic planning for our company. As the General Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading our financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring financial compliance, and contributing to the overall business strategy.
What you'll be doing
1. Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
2. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to meet regulatory and internal requirements
3. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance
4. Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior management to support business decision-making
5. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with the company's overall strategic goals
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably in the Accounting industry
2. Strong technical expertise in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
3. Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightfulrecommendations
4. Thorough understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred
7. Experience in a manufacturing environment
8. Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Background in audit or accounting firm experience is a plus.
13. Experience in Public Listed Company and familiarity with tax, company secretariat, corporate governance & compliance will be added advantage.
