A reputable MNC Shared Services Centre is currently looking for a
General Ledger Team Lead to join their Malaysia office based in Selangor to perform, lead and support the company's general ledger on a global scale. This permanent role blends hands-on GL responsibilities with leadership and process improvement initiatives.
Your new role
- Lead and develop a team of GL professionals.
- Drive timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/Local GAAP).
- Champion process enhancements and standardisation across regions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong communication skills and good command of English
- Good stakeholder management.
- SSC experience preferred with strong technical knowledge in GL/RTR operations.
- Leadership/People Management experience - previously led a team.
