About the Job
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all business operations in Malaysia, with an emphasis on implementing strategic initiatives across the company's commercial, financial, and regulatory areas. Working closely with senior leadership, the GM will drive strategy execution, strengthen customer relationships, streamline processes, and ensure the successful achievement of the company's objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership across all business operations, developing and executing initiatives that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and expand market share.
- Accelerate revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, broadening the customer base, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders. Foster a high-performance sales culture that delivers consistent results.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with key clients, distributors, and business partners. Ensure customer satisfaction through the timely delivery of high-quality products and exceptional service
- Lead and develop cross-functional teamsincluding sales, marketing, customer service, technical services, regulatory, and operations, to achieve excellence in performance and collaboration.
- Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes, monitor financial performance, and implement effective cost control measures to enhance profitability and long-term sustainability. Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to ensure compliance with all relevant standards, certifications, audits, and inspections.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business functions, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations, customer service, and distribution.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience within the medical device or healthcare industry, with expertise in profit and loss management, business development, and operations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
