Job Description
We are looking for a results-driven Sales General Manager to lead tire sales growth across Malaysia. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage key accounts, and lead a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in Malaysia's tire wholesale and retail channels.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze tire market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities.
- Client & Market Development: Expand and manage the client base by building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with logistics, finance, marketing, and product management to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance against financial targets and provide regular forecasts and reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the tire industry in Malaysia
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record working with top-tier tire brands (manufacturers or distributors)
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
