General Manager
We are representing an established international manufacturing company with operations in Malaysia. They are currently looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee overall plant operations, business performance, and strategic growth initiatives.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing the operations, financial performance, operational efficiency, and team leadership while ensuring alignment with regional headquarters and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall manufacturing and business operations
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency
- Drive process improvements and implement company strategies
- Lead and develop the local team across operations and support functions
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and safety requirements
- Prepare reports and coordinate closely with headquarters
- Manage suppliers, stakeholders, and operational escalations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a General Manager or senior leadership role
- Strong manufacturing and business management background
- Experience in budgeting, operations, and people management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with multinational or regional stakeholders is an advantage
- RP system knowledge will be an added advantage
