Build the Next Generation of GIS Solutions for Global Marine Infrastructure

Are you passionate about leveraging GIS technology to solve complex geospatial challenges We are looking for a GIS Consultant to join our growing team and support the development of our GIS capabilities for marine and subsea infrastructure projects. In this role, you'll develop geospatial workflows, automate data processing, build GIS tools, and manage high-quality geospatial datasets. You'll have the opportunity to shape best practices, improve production efficiency, and contribute to innovative GIS solutions that support critical offshore and telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate GIS workflows using ArcGIS, Python/ArcPy, and geoprocessing tools.
  • Manage and maintain geodatabases, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Design and implement repeatable data processing pipelines and Spatial ETL workflows.
  • Develop GIS tools and applications to support marine cable route surveys, charting, and data management.
  • Standardize geospatial data structures and improve production efficiency through reusable templates and workflows.
  • Ensure GIS charts and maps comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Support the development of GIS web applications and centralized geospatial repositories.
  • Train and support AutoCAD drafters in adopting ArcGIS workflows and best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and recommend continuous improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Science, GIS, Geography, Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in GIS within survey, mapping, or marine cable route projects.
  • Mandatory strong hands-on experience with ESRI technologies, particularly ArcGIS Pro for production cartography and ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online for publishing and access control.
  • Experience with GIS software and programming languages, such as Python (native or ArcPy), SQL, and Arcade.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement geodatabases and data models, manage and leverage large, complex geospatial datasets, and enforce QA/QC and traceability.
  • Strong communication and practical implementation skills, including the ability to train and uplift non-GIS staff.
  • Proficiency in automation using ArcGIS Data Interoperability or FME is advantageous.
