Summary
The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for managing, governing, and maintaining user access to enterprise systems on a global scale. This role ensures that access to applications, systems, and data is secure, compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and aligned with the principle of least privilege.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end user access lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
- Provision, modify, and revoke user access across multiple enterprise systems and applications.
- Enforce access governance controls, including least privilege, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Administer IAM tools and platforms, ensuring timely processing of access requests and approvals.
- Collaborate with business, IT, and security stakeholders to define and maintain access roles and entitlements.
- Support audit and compliance activities by providing access evidence, reports, and remediation support.
- Monitor access-related risks, incidents, and anomalies, and escalate issues as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IAM processes, controls, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Able to read, write and speak in Japanese Language. Certified with JLPT N2 OR N1.
- Relevant hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or IT Operations.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, RBAC, and access governance.
- Experience with IAM tools and technologies (e.g., access provisioning, entitlement management, identity governance).
- Knowledge of information security principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and ticketing workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across global teams.
- Preferred Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or any Identity and Access Management related certifications.
