Global AI Lead

Our client is a prestigious global professional services firm and a powerhouse in strategic consulting. Recognized as a world leader in digital transformation, they partner with the who's who of the corporate world-from Tier-1 banks to global Energy giants. They are currently investing heavily in their Malaysian hub, positioning it as a center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence within the APAC region.

As the Global AI Lead, you will be the bridge between cutting-edge innovation and industrial application. This isn't just a strategy role; it's a high-impact position where you will oversee the end-to-end production and deployment of AI solutions. You will work with Malaysia's largest enterprises in Banking, Financial Services, Oil & Gas, and FMCG, helping them navigate the complexities of AI adoption at a massive scale.

You will orchestrate the transition from experimental AI to industrial-scale implementation. Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic Advisory: Act as the primary technical authority for C-suite clients, defining AI roadmaps that align with large-scale business objectives in the FSI, Energy, and FMCG sectors.

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead the full development lifecycle-from requirement gathering and architecture design to the production and deployment of enterprise-scale AI solutions.

• Technical Innovation: Spearhead the adoption of frontier technologies, including Agentic AI, RAG frameworks, and Custom LLMs, ensuring they are integrated into mature, high-volume data environments.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct and inspire a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• Operational Excellence: Establish robust MLOps and governance standards to ensure the scalability, security, and ethical deployment of AI models across various industries.

• Stakeholder Orchestration: Navigate complex organizational structures to drive collaboration between business units, IT, and external partners.

• Continuous Improvement: Manage the post-deployment phase by implementing feedback loops, performance monitoring, and iterative enhancements to maintain model accuracy and value.

• Knowledge Transfer: Leverage your international experience to upskill local talent, bridging the gap between global best practices and the Malaysian market's unique needs.

You will lead a diverse, multi-cultural team of data scientists and engineers. The culture is collaborative, fast-paced, and intellectually stimulating. Desired Skills and Experience

Malaysian Citizenship is mandatory (This role is part of a strategic initiative to repatriate local talent).

10+ years of experience in Data & AI, with a significant portion spent in mature overseas markets across the APAC region.

Proven track record of deploying production-grade AI within large MNCs or enterprise-scale environments.

Extensive experience in Senior Stakeholder Management, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
