Your new role
As the Global Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving global growth within the semiconductor and battery segments. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, build and steer a strong global pipeline, and work closely with regional sales teams to win high-value opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a global business development strategy across the semiconductor and battery industries
- Identify and prioritise target markets, applications, and key accounts across regions
- Own and drive global pipeline development while supporting regional teams in deal execution
- Act as a strategic advisor on key opportunities, shaping value propositions and customer engagement strategies
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to align on targets, focus areas, and execution plans
- Provide sales enablement tools including industry insights, customer targeting, and value propositions
- Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Track key performance metrics including pipeline growth, revenue, win rates, and new customer acquisition
- Lead regular global performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Master's degree in business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or segment management within B2B industrial or technology environments
- Proven experience within semiconductor and/or battery manufacturing industries
- Strong track record in building pipelines and delivering revenue growth
- Experience working within a global, matrix organisation and influencing regional teams
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cultures
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and ability to drive strategic initiatives independently
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
