The Position

Responsibilities

Service Delivery
Perform complete, stringent and timely financial tasks, including but not limited to:


System Analysis & Operations: Execute requests and coordinate activities across SAP FI, MM, CO, and SD modules, including system monitoring and maintaining SAP background configurations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and Global KPIs.

  • Incident Management: Handle incoming functional, analytical, and financial planning-related incidents from Roche Affiliates and regional/global IT departments, providing solutions or workarounds.

  • Execute request related to SAP FI, MM, CO, SD module in Ticketing tool and coordination and execution of SAP release activities, focusing on FI (Fixed Asset, GL closing, Financial Accounting, Bank/Payment/Treasury, Table Maintenance, Authorization, system failure) and CO (Management Accounting - cost center, profit center, COPA, service billing, Table Maintenance)

  • Data & Reporting: Utilize Business Warehouse (BW4) reports, analytical Fiori applications, and SAC dashboards, and create requested reports for internal controllers/FMs and external requestors.

  • Issue Escalation: Evaluate and manage user requests and incidents using ITIL methodology for prioritization, and escalate issues and enhancement requests to the appropriate Support Team, tracking them to conclusion.

  • System Knowledge & Advisory: Provide advisory on Financial Accounting Processes and System Configurations, and support users in SAP Finance process changes or system upgrades.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Base: Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Knowledge Base articles, and User Guidance based on system documentation and incident feedback.

  • Project Leadership: Lead or facilitate Finance-related projects, system enhancements, updates, and configurations, including deployment support, functional analysis, and testing.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as an IT escalation board, establish strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and work to understand and support business change needs and E2E processes.


Employees are responsible for performing their duties in line with the SHE (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Protection) Guidelines and the applicable law. It is required to complete the mandatory training courses and follow procedures and instructions accordingly.

Who you are

  • You are a strong communicator & team player with multicultural acceptance and service orientation.

  • Strong technical knowledge, including experience with SAP Finance and Controlling modules, BW4, and ideally SAC or other analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in finance and accounting, with comprehensive insight into Financial Accounting Organization and Demand to Pay processes.

  • Essential soft skills include strong written and spoken English communication, customer centricity, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
