Assistant Manager, Global Immigration Engagement Management

Role Overview
Global Immigration Engagement Management services are critical to KPMG's global growth strategy and the success of our Global Mobility Services (GMS) Immigration practice. The Global Engagement Management team is a worldwide network of professionals who support KPMG member firms in delivering consistent, highquality immigration services to multinational clients.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be an experienced and proactive member of the KDN engagement team, with responsibility for supervising junior team members, managing global client coordination, and supporting the continuous improvement of processes and technology across the KPMG network. This role offers strong exposure to global stakeholders and clear scope for progression.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the first point of contact for globally coordinated clients, managing routine requests and escalations independently
- Work closely with Managers on complex or highrisk matters
- Liaise with individual applicants, HR counterparts, member firms, and suppliers to provide advice and alternative solutions
- Maintain strong working relationships with global vendors and local offices
SLA & Delivery Management
- Understand and monitor client SLAs, proactively escalating risks where delivery may be impacted
- Support new client transitions, ensuring smooth onboarding and engagement progression
- Review clientfacing deliverables including QBRs, WIP, and expiry reports, following up with member firms where data is incomplete or inaccurate
- Maintain and update client templates, materials, and engagementspecific process guides
Team Supervision & Quality Control
- Supervise, guide, and review work performed by junior team members
- Ensure all work products meet KPMG quality and service standards
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional client service
Process, Technology & Continuous Improvement
- Support adhoc client projects, mapping exercises, and technology updates
- Identify opportunities to improve working practices, processes, and tools, sharing recommendations with Managers and Senior Managers
- Supervise and maintain accurate case information in KIM / LinkGo tracking systems
Risk Management
- Demonstrate awareness of KPMG risk management policies and procedures
- Identify and raise potential risk matters to Line Managers in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to defined work processes and compliance requirements
Financial & Engagement Management
- Ensure accurate and timely time bookings and achievement of chargeable targets
- Support Managers in monitoring engagement financials and ensuring timely invoicing
Requirements
- Undergraduate university degree preferred
- Strong understanding of immigration processes, including both basic and complex application types
- Proven experience in global immigration coordination for medium to large multinational clients
- Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities in a fastpaced, global environment
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and data interpretation skills
- Demonstrated ability to guide, train, and mentor junior team members
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- Confident communicator in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Comfortable working with technology platforms and case management tools
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficient in MS Office applications
