Job Description
- Support the development, implementation, and governance of customs policies.
- Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control effectiveness evaluations
- Identify compliance gaps, control weaknesses, and potential customs-related risks
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate requirements into operational guidance and controls
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Audit, Risk Management, Supply Chain, and Customs stakeholders
- Support audit activities, follow-up actions, and remediation planning
- Perform compliance reporting, data analysis, and dashboard preparation
- Participate in customs-related projects, process improvements, and transformation initiatives
- Support knowledge transfer, awareness programs, and governance best practices across the organization
The Successful Applicant
A successful Global Customs Governance & Risk Management Specialist (Senior Executive) should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Risk Management, Logistics, Law, Accounting, or related disciplines
- Experience in Customs Compliance, Trade Compliance, Customs Audit, Risk Management, Governance, Internal Controls, or related functions
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, compliance frameworks, and audit processes
- Experience identifying compliance gaps, risks, control weaknesses, and remediation opportunities
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- SAP or SAP GTS exposure would be advantageous
- Comfortable working with regional and global stakeholders
