A global chemical manufacturing from Germany is currently seeking to hire Supply Chain expert to join their team in Malaysia as Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify required models, methods and tools for Service Design
- Structure, group and prioritize business requirements
- Ensure usage of new information and communication technology to design or re-design supply chain services
- Develop new and extend existing services based on requirements from the business and align with service catalog
- Test new services prior to implementation and calculate cost
- Deliver basis for technical concepts in cooperation with DevOp Team and Business Experts
- Drive automation and digitalization for GB
- Drive continuous improvement and change management in the operation
- Create customer-specific and cross-regional distribution concepts in cooperation with respective SDU, Purchase to Pay, Procurement and Finance team.
- Drive as Project Manager integration of new businesses into GB service structure
- Experiences in optimization and innovation initiatives in the area of Transport Management, Import & Export Management, and Order Management
Key Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Transport Management, Import/Export, and Order Management.
- Strong SAP experience, particularly SD and TM modules.
- Must have experience in driving projects, process improvements, change management and implementation of initiatives according to business needs
- Must be able to have flexibilty to work across North America and EMEA time zones
- Additional: Customs knowledge/experience (Support the customs related topics and provide expert support for Customs Management)
