Job Description

We're hiring a Global Partnerships to help build and strengthen a regional vendor and distributor network across global markets.

The company helps businesses manage employee devices globally, from laptop procurement and deployment to retrieval and IT asset disposition. As the business scales, the vendor network becomes a big part of its competitive advantage. The stronger the partnerships, the better the company can support customers across different markets.

About the role

This role sits between Operations, Commercial, and Vendor Partners.

You will be responsible for sourcing, validating, onboarding, and managing hardware distributors, resellers, logistics partners, and fulfilment vendors. The goal is simple: make sure the business can source devices faster, at better pricing, with reliable delivery and stronger partner support.

This is not a pure procurement admin role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating commercially, and making vendors see the company as a priority partner.

Core Responsibilities

Build the Vendor Network: Proactively source and engage distributors, resellers, logistics partners, and fulfilment vendors across regional markets. Help the business build a stronger partner network to support faster sourcing, better coverage, and stronger delivery capability.

Validate & Onboard Partners: Assess vendors based on coverage, pricing, stock availability, delivery capability, service quality, and reliability. Ensure new partners are onboarded properly with clear documentation, process alignment, service expectations, and escalation flows.

Manage Partner Relationships: Own day-to-day communication with vendors and internal teams. Build strong, long-term relationships with partners while making sure they see the business as a priority account.

Negotiate Better Terms: Push for better pricing, priority support, credit terms, service levels, and overall partnership value. Balance being commercially firm with maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Drive Vendor Performance: Review vendor performance regularly, including SLA, delivery timelines, responsiveness, issue resolution, and service gaps. Identify underperforming vendors and take action to improve, deprioritise, or replace them when needed.

Key Competencies

• 5+ years of experience in vendor management, partnerships, channel sales, business development, procurement, supply chain, or relationship management

• Exposure to IT hardware distributors, resellers, technology vendors, logistics, or fulfilment partners

• Strong commercial sense, especially in negotiating pricing, credit terms, priority, and service levels

• Outgoing, confident, and able to build trust with vendors quickly

• Strong communication and follow-up discipline

• Able to push vendors firmly but professionally

• Comfortable managing multiple partners across regional markets

• Mandarin-speaking ability is important, as some key clients and partners are from China

• Malaysia-based, or familiar with the Malaysia / regional IT vendor market
