1.Murex Development:
- Design, develop, and customize Murex modules to meet business requirements.
- Enhance and maintain existing functionalities within the Murex platform.
- Implement configuration changes, workflows, and scripts for optimal performance.
2. Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Estimate testing efforts for CAB releases, upgrades, and implementation projects.
- Develop test plans and cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functionality.
- Conduct system and integration testing to validate Murex application behavior.
- Identify and resolve defects in collaboration with QA and development teams.
3.Database Management:
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support Murex database operations.
- Manage Oracle database configurations, backups, and performance tuning.
4. Platform Expertise:
- Work within AIX, Solaris, and open systems environments to support Murex application deployments.
- Provide technical support for platform upgrades and ensure system stability.
5.Collaboration:
- Partner with business analysts and traders to understand and implement financial engineering requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams for deployment, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
6.Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation for development processes, test plans, and project deliverables.
- Contribute to operational runbooks and knowledge-sharing materials.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency inMurexplatform development and configuration.
- Strong knowledge ofSQLfor database operations.
- Basic to intermediate skills inJavafor integration and automation tasks.
