GM SMT Buniness & Factory

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site GM (SMT Business & Factory) role based in Batu Kawan. The General Manager will oversee the end-to-end SMT (Surface Mount Technology) business and factory operations, including production planning, manufacturing performance, quality, maintenance, and continuous improvement. The role involves defining and executing business strategies, setting operational targets, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements. The GM will lead and develop cross-functional teams, foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and drive initiatives to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and delivery performance. Daily responsibilities also include engaging with key customers and suppliers, supporting new product introductions, reporting operational and financial results to senior stakeholders, and ensuring that factory capabilities align with the company's long-term growth plans.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SMT manufacturing operations, with a solid understanding of SMT processes, equipment, production flows, and factory management.
• Proven track record in business leadership, including strategic planning, P&L management, budgeting, and driving profitable growth in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong people leadership skills, including team building, coaching, performance management, and the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated capability in operational excellence, such as Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in quality management, EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), and compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Musu have mandrian speaking and reading skill
