Vacancy Announcement – Governance, Risk & Compliance Executive

Position: Governance, Risk & Compliance Executive

Location: Shah Alam

Salary Range: RM3,000 – RM4,999

Job Level: Junior Executive

Experience Required: 1–2 years

Role Description:

The selected candidate will support governance, risk, compliance, business continuity, audit coordination, and health & safety documentation activities. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure documentation, records, reports, and audit evidence are properly maintained and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)

  • Maintain and update BCMS documents, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP), policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate BCP exercises for corporate and project-level requirements.
  • Prepare BCMS Management Review Meeting materials and status reports.
  • Maintain risk assessment trackers, exercise records, action plans, and evidence repositories.
  • Support internal and external BCMS audit activities, including evidence preparation, stakeholder coordination, and finding closure.

Compliance / CCC Audit Support

  • Support the preparation and coordination of CCC external audit activities.
  • Gather audit evidence and coordinate with process owners.
  • Maintain records of audit documentation, reports, and follow-up actions.

Health & Safety Documentation

  • Maintain Health & Safety documents, including policies, Emergency Response Team charts, first aid inventory, incident trackers, and JKKP documentation.
  • Support the coordination of workplace safety activities and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety records are properly updated, filed, and audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, IT, Safety & Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in governance, compliance, audit coordination, or administrative documentation.
  • Fresh graduates with strong organisational skills may also be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
  • Exposure to ISO 22301, ISO 18295, BCMS exercises, or Health & Safety governance will be an added advantage.
