About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Graduate Civil Engineer to join our FEMS department in Pendang, Kedah on a contract basis. Reporting directly to the Head of FEMS, you will be responsible for assisting the team in overseeing civil and structural infrastructure maintenance, ensuring compliance, and managing site coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Inspections & Defects Assessment: Conduct routine inspections on building structures and civil infrastructure under the FEMS scope.
- Contractor Management: Supervise, coordinate, and monitor external contractors during civil maintenance or upgrading works.
- Reporting: Assist the Head of FEMS in preparing technical maintenance reports, KPIs, and updating engineering logs.
- HSE & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strictly comply with safety standards and local authority regulations.
- Project Coordination: Support the department in minor civil renovation or upgrading projects (CAPEX).
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional Registration: Must be actively registered as a Graduate Engineer (GE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) – mandatory contract compliance.
- Experience: Fresh graduates or junior engineers (less than 1 year of experience) with an interest in facilities engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and good communication skills.
- Location: Based full-time on-site in Pendang, Kedah.
