Job Description

As a Graduate Engineer, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. This role focuses on ensuring production efficiency, quality, safety (OHS), and cost-effectiveness while supporting both new product introductions and existing product improvements.

You will gain hands-on experience in prototyping, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives, while working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation
  • Assist in prototyping and verification activities to assess design feasibility and manufacturability
  • Work closely with Product Development teams to ensure new products are robust and production-ready
  • Help identify and resolve technical and process-related issues on the production floor
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and company policies
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
  • Participate in process validation activities, including documentation and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, GMP) to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Provide support in training operators on new processes, tools, and equipment
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build strong working relationships

Qualifications & Experience


Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related field)
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred:

  • Internship or project experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with process documentation and validation activities.
