Join a pioneering research team advancing Two-Photon Absorption Photoinitiators for:
Nanofabrication
All-optical switching
On-chip optical signal processing
Quantum photonics
We are seeking two highly motivated Graduate Research Assistantsone specializing in organic synthesis and the other in modeling and characterization. Our team has pre-screened a large library of two-photon absorption photoinitiators using first-principles quantum chemical calculations. The next phase involves further development of these materials, refinement of computational methods, and application of molecular dynamics modeling to identify strategies for minimizing polymer shrinkage during nanofabrication. Additionally, we aim to experimentally characterize the two-photon absorption cross-sections to close the gap between theoretical predictions and experimental results, ultimately enabling the implementation of a highly accurate predictive model. This research is critical to advancing next-generation technologies in quantum photonic computing, on-chip optical signal processing, and all-optical switching through 3D photolithography.
