Job Description:

Intel Foundry is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineering Student to join our team in exploring, developing, deploying, and supporting existing and cutting-edge solutions in both Facility and Fab semiconductor environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects, leveraging automation to enhance the efficiency and scalability of advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. Key Initiatives:

  • Analyze system/user behavior to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Design and analyze tests for new feature rollouts and optimizations.
  • Identify anomalies, document findings and create test cases.
  • Develop and implement operational KPIs across all facilities.
  • Support senior analysts with data investigation and pattern recognition.
  • Work with teams to implement data improvements and validate results.
  • Learn to transform raw data into actionable insights, conduct trend analysis to distinguish between trends and one-off issues.
  • Perform simulations of systems for stakeholders to thoroughly review and test in a safe environment.
  • Coordinate with site engineers in different geographic regions to fulfill service requests for application changes.
  • Establish, develop, and foster strong stakeholder, customer, and partner relationships with focus on strong automation opportunities and supportability of their systems.
  • Manage and prioritize service requests accordingly to business need.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Computer/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering and related field.
  • Tech skills proficiency in Programming Languages: .NET, Angular, SQL, API development, Microsoft Microservices.

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Able to design effective testing coverage for applications.
  • Proactive: Notices system behavior and communicate enhancements, problems to solve.
  • Identify leading indicators before problems become visible.
  • Attention to Detail and Curiosity: Understand the -why-.
  • Communication skills: Work with stakeholders to capture feedback for system enhancements.
  • Being able to explain to stakeholders why certain problems in the data/system aren't worth pursuing.
  • Being able to communicate timelines and expectations to team members.
  • Prioritization judgment: understanding constraints and focusing effort on changes that will have real impact.
  • Statistical thinking: Understanding variance, seasonality, and what constitutes a significant change when looking at data.
