The Role

As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

The Person

A successful candidate is one who can perform in a role that requires accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project's success. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Power Integrity and Power Delivery Network design
  • Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up
  • Post Silicon Bring up of Test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement
  • Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement
  • Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization

Preferred Experience


  • Power simulation tools such as PowerSI, SIWave, Simplis
  • SPICE simulation tools such as HSPICE, LTSPICE
  • Time domain power noise measurement. Frequency domain measurement, looped stability measurement

Academic Credentials


  • Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines
