Job Summary
The Graphic Designer & Digital Intern will support the Group Branding & Corporate Communications function in creating visual and digital assets for corporate communications across JAG Capital Berhad and its subsidiaries.
This role is primarily focused on design and visual execution, with exposure to website design using WordPress and Elementor, as well as basic digital and lead-related support. It is suitable for a creative, detail-oriented individual who is keen to gain hands-on experience in a public-listed company environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Design & Visual Support
- Create visual assets for corporate communications, including:
- Social media posts (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Corporate announcements, internal communications, and event visuals
- Design presentation decks, infographics, and simple visual materials for management and stakeholder use
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all design outputs
- Support basic layout formatting and visual enhancements for digital and print materials
- Organize and manage design files, templates, and brand assets
-Website Design Support (WordPress / Elementor)
- Assist in updating and maintaining website pages using WordPress and Elementor
- Support design-related website tasks only, such as:
- Updating banners, images, icons, and page layouts
- Formatting content to align with brand and corporate identity
- Ensure website visuals are consistent across desktop and mobile views
- Coordinate visuals between website pages and other corporate communication materials
(Note: This role does not involve backend development or complex coding.)
-Digital & Lead Support (Basic Exposure)
- Assist in organising and updating basic lead or enquiry information from digital platforms
- Support simple data entry and maintenance using spreadsheets (e.g. website enquiries, internal records)
- Assist in categorising or compiling leads for internal coordination purposes
- Support alignment between website enquiry forms and internal communication workflows
Requirements & Qualifications
-Undergraduate student or recent graduate in:
- Graphic Design
- Visual Communication
- Multimedia Design
- Digital Media
- or related fields
- Candidates with a design + web portfolio are encouraged to apply
Skills & Competencies
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in design tools such as:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva / Figma
- Familiarity with WordPress and Elementor for design/layout purposes
- Good understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) for basic data organization
- Ability to translate briefs into clean, professional visuals
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
